Getting Ready

This has been a year in the making, ever since last spring break in 2011 when we were talking about doing the John Muir Trail backwards and someone mentioned the PCT, and i said why not.  these last months have been a little nuts, planning and it seems like we will be planning right up to the day i leave.  Talking about the day i leave, my leave date is APRIL 7th, 2012.  I have a very relaxed schedule, we will be up dating the trip along the way.  When i say we, this is me as the hiker and my outside support, my so helpful mother.  She will be helping from the outside.  Most of the trip i will be hiking alone, but i will never really be alone, with my mother as primary support on the outside, my beautiful girlfriend Krista, and all the support from family and friends.  Once i figure out this site better, i will add the spot location.  I will not be keeping up this blog, Krista will be posting everything for me, and if you would like to help out, i will be including e-mails, for the people that you can get in contact with.
